It is now time to consider getting the garden ready for summer. February / March – time for deciduous trees, shrubs and roses to be pruned. Those deciduous hedges also need trimming and the soil in the garden needs fertilizing for better growth of plants trees and shrubs.
If you want a new pond or any other garden features, now is the time to start planning!
Preparation is the key to any good lawn. Maintenance undertaken now will be rewarded in the summer. There is nothing worse than looking at a poor lawn.
Now is the time to aerate the lawn, tackle the moss problems, and apply sand if necessary. Debris and moss need to be removed with a rake and worm casts need to be brushed away.
